N4 COURSE

The N4 Japanese Language Proficiency Level assesses fundamental language skills. It is the second simplest exam after N5, and it mostly measures reading and listening abilities in Japanese learned at the basic and intermediate levels.

  • Vocabulary

    Basic knowledge in kanji reading & writing with regular usage and expressions

  • Grammar & Reading

    Basic knowledge in grammar. Writing short & medium length passages with correct grammar

  • Listning

    Task-based comprehension, Verbal expressions, ability to understand most of everyday language

N5 COURSE

The JLPT N5 is the first level of Japanese Language Proficiency. To pass the N5 level, you must possess the ability to easily read and understand basic hiragana, katakana, and about 100 words in kanji. In addition, you should have a vocabulary of about 800 words.

  • Vocabulary

    As beginners, you are required to learn basic usage of hiragana, katakana and kanji. Ability to read & write some of the basic Japanese that are commonly used.

  • Grammar & Reading

    You will be able to form small sentences with correct grammar. Basic understanding of tenses.

  • Listning

    Ability to listen and comprehend conversations about topics regularly encountered in daily life, pick up necessary information from short conversations spoken slowly.
